Membership is closed, which means that after you send us your application our membership body is given the option to vote to accept you into the society.  A voting process such as this is common in many organizations as a safeguard against bestowing membership to an individual who is combative or actively against the core values of the organization. The voting process is never used to discriminate for reasons of religious, political, racial, sexual orientation, or any other cultural distinction that have nothing to do with the purpose of this organization.

A. Membership fees and dues are determined by a vote at the Annual Meeting. They rarely change.

Q. What are “insignias”?

A. Each member of the Society is given an insignia to designate his or her membership. Insignias are displayed on name tags, printed material, and so on. In the future we may also offer products that can display insignias, such as mugs, t-shirts, calendars, etc. You can see the insignias here.
